just another day in paradise

As my title says...it was a beautiful experience staying there. Dina and Georgios are perfect...Words cannot describe how good and welcomed we felt. Hotel is right on the beach, and we felt so safe there, even leaving our stuff on the sunbeds while having a lunch and taking an afternoon nap in the room. Rooms are very clean, everything is very clean and the Lady who is working there as a maid is very very thorough. You have to try Dina's tzatziki - knocked me down literally :)) Sunrise and Sunset are pure magic from that hotel's beach, and in the nights you can see the Milky Way. I deeply appreciate the way animals are treated there - with kind and love. See you soon Dina, Giorgos and little Mayo :)

Very cozy and friendly

Small and cozy hotel located at the beach with crystal clear water. Dina and her son Georgios take very good care of you and allow you to just relax and feel care free. Simple continental breakfast that includes everything you need to start your day, absolutely great lotion with about 20 min walk to Pythagorion. A bit old a/c equipment which works fine, however it makes A LOT of noice. But nothing you can't handle :) I would recommend anyone to visit this hotel, I wouöd choose it over and over if/when I go back to Samos!

Nice cafe bar on the beachfront!

Dina and Giorgos are just great!!!!Kind and welcoming! The kitchen was closed as we went there a bit late but they served us anyway!! Greek hospitality!!!! We had a great chat with them and they offered great advice about samos! They even have a sweet little dog!!!!!!! Very cosy place exactly in front of the beach! We will definitely visit again!

The hotel is a few feet from the ocean,clean , and the wave bar serves its customers well. The owner at times is very unpleasant and there is Politics involved with customers,and other hotels. I would recommend this hotel but be aware of some issues

Best place for a quiet, welcoming vacation!

This hotel is the best experience I’ve ever had! The rooms are small and simple, all feature a balcony and is cleaned every day, but it is everything you need for a sunny and calm vacation. Located right at the beach, you don’t need to walk far to have a great holiday! The owner Dina and her son Giorgos are very welcoming and do everything they can to make the stay a happy one. Here you will feel like a part of a big family. The beach bar, were you have the breakfast, serve drinks, ice cream, desserts and light lunch dishes are convinient, with good, cheap food. I highly recommend the omelette special with bacon, onion and green bell pepper, the best omelette ever tasted! The hotel is in close proximity of the airport, but because the island is very small there isn’t very much traffic and almost exclusively during daytime, so this did not bother us at all. If you take a healthy walk to Pythagorion (approx. 2 km) you will find a lot of restaurants, and shops for souvenirs but also useful things. The people of Samos are very proud about their island and most thing, ranging from food to ceramics, are small scale, locally produced and excellent. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday, with the most generous and warm hosts, Hotel Katerina is the place to go!
