Fantastisch verblijf.

Als je een hotel of appartement zoekt waar je “thuiskomt” hoef je niet verder te zoeken. Wij reizen als gezin veel, maar zo persoonlijk en vriendelijk personeel als hier, vind je vrijwel nergens. Ik kwam hier voor het eerst als jong meisje, nu kom ik er weer met mijn kinderen. De locatie is perfect. En de kamers zijn super schoon. Protaras is een hele fijne plek om te zijn, maar de werknemers van Alva geven je vakantie net dat extra, zodat het echt heerlijk is! Soulla, Katia, Kristina en de rest; wederom bedankt! Tot snel!

Relaxing holiday

Another wonderful holiday at the Alva. Spent some days at Fig Tree Bay which is just a few minutes walk from the hotel, and some days just relaxing by the pool. Weather was perfect - a great time of year to visit Cyprus. The staff at the Alva were so friendly, as always, and help to make this a great hotel to stay in. Highly recommend. Already booked up for next year.

Home From Home

The Alva was not actually our first choice but what a stroke of luck our original hotel didn't have the dates we wanted. Clean, comfortable, and located a five minute walk from the beach. Also only a few minutes from the main strip in Protaras. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Our balcony had a sea view. Only minor gripe was the breakfast. Could be a little more varied but not a huge problem. The bar prices are very friendly too LOL We found out after booking that family members had been there for the last eight years and one of our group has provisionally booked the Alva for next year. They are doing something right

Great hotel

We stayed at Alva for 18 nights as a family of 4 (children 14 & 12) room was lovely and spacious, cleaner came everyday and the room was always spotless. We stayed self catering, we had a small kitchen which had what we needed and a little fridge which was really useful for cold drinks. The pool was lovely and clean, we only sat by the pool a couple of times as some guests did get up early to reserve beds with towels and would then disappear for hours but there is so much to do and see that this really didn’t bother us but I can see why some people who would want to sit by the pool would get annoyed. The hotel did try to accommodate and during our stay provided extra beds by the pool. Location is fantastic 2 minute walk to fig tree bay and on the doorstep of all the bars and shops! Also really close to catch the bus, bus service is great and really cheap although they do get really busy. Reception staff were always polite and friendly. We did ask for late check out but it wasn’t possible due to the time of year but there were facilities we could use to shower etc before our flight. We loved this hotel so much so we have booked to return again next year which will be a first as we have never returned to a hotel before we have always stayed somewhere different! I would definitely recommend Alva and we can’t wait to return.

Really fabulous Alva Apartments

Absolute fabulous Love these apartments. Really clean and friendly and helpful staff. Ideally situated in Protaras. Restaurants, bars and shops very close. Nice pool with bar and plenty of sunbeds (mid-September) Jet2 rep Mandy was really nice and helpful. Work in travel and we always have high expectations so this property has passed with flying colours. Fig Tree bay is a nice beach with loads of sunbeds but need to be early to get one. Had a great day in Ayia Napa with another great beach. Only 1.50 euro each way on the bus. Going to North Cyprus for a day excursion booked through the hotel. Book this accommodation. You won't regret it.
