Perfect!

Wij verbleven in dit hotel met 8 personen, voor 8 dagen (in maart). En echt waar, dit hotel heeft onze verwachting overtroffen! Het personeel is elke dag onwijs vriendelijk, niks is teveel gevraagd. De eerste dag werden er meteen tafels aan elkaar geschoven en voor ons gereserveerd, voor de komende dagen. Wanneer we 's avonds nog een drankje kwamen doen in de bar, werd er meteen een heater voor ons aangezet en fleece kleedjes aangeboden. Het personeel stond echt altijd voor ons klaar. Daarnaast is het hotel heel schoon, zowel de kamers als de openbare ruimtes. Nog een paar voordelen; het eten is top, je staat vanaf je kamer binnen 1 minuut op het strand en het dichtstbijzijnde stadje Alcúdia is heel mooi! Wij komen hier zeker nog een keer (of meerdere keren) terug! :)

Modern en hip hotel

Het hotel is het afgelopen jaar gerenoveerd en het is prachtig geworden. De kamers zijn ruim en modern ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het ontbijt was enorm en van alles voorzien. Alle soorten eieren, grote broodselectie en verschillende fruitsoorten en nog veel meer. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De enige opmerking is dat de bediening op het terras/lounge gedeelte niet snel was. Het personeel was te druk met het bedienen van gasten van het diner. Voor de rest was alles top ook de locatie kan niet beter!

Super relaxed hotel aan tropisch strand

Heerlijk hotel , pal aan het prachtige strand van Alcudia. De kamers zijn modern, netjes, schoon. Het zwembad en de tuin en bedjes er om heen zijn heerlijk. We zijn hier 4 nachten gebleven omdat het zo heerlijk was (plan was 2). Ontbijt is goed, maar niet echt bijzonder. Rustig gelegen , op loopafstand van het centrum. Aanrader, als wij nog eens naar Mallorca gaan, dan gaan we hier zeker weer naar toe.

Fantastic Hotel, Staff & location! If you're unsure where to book - book here!

We got back from staying at the Sofia Hotel yesterday and can honestly say it was a really lovely place to stay! We are a family of 3, (2 adults and a 4 1/2 year old) and stayed in a junior suite with sea view which was perfect! We had room 1213 and we had a view of the pool and the beach and it was definitely one of the best views in the hotel for sure! Room - The room was plenty big enough for us, plenty of space in the wardrobes, nice little fridge to store our bottles of water and we requested a kettle which was no problem at all. Beds comfy and lovely black out curtains! Hotel staff came in everyday and cleaned and made the beds, changed the towels etc so that was nice! Food - Originally we had booked half board but when learning the evening food was served between 7pm - 9.30pm we decided to just do B&B as eating at that time with a 4 year old was just a little too late for us, the hotel were absolutely fine with us changing our plans and had updated everything when we paid at checkout. Breakfast was 8am - 10.30am and plenty on offer! There was everything from cereal, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, breads, meats, cheeses to all hot stuff such as bacon, eggs, waffles, pancakes etc.. they alternated a few things such as different style sausages/pastries/fruit but it mainly stayed the same each morning which is fine with us as we mixed it up everyday! The bar food was SUPERB, I read a review on here that someone said it was the best bar food they'd ever had and I agree! The pizzas were so cheesy and delicious and the salads were huge! We especially enjoyed the Teriyaki Chicken noodles! The bar food is served until 4.45PM. All drinks were great too, from a lovely strawberry Mojito to the 'tastiest hot chocolate ever!' according to my son! Hotel - The hotel itself is very very clean and very modern. Every morning the staff were up cleaning outside/ the pool etc and its at a very high standard! The location is perfect, right on the beach and a 15 minute walk to the main shops/restaurants. We did find there was a constant breeze so it did get a bit chilly in the shade and in the evenings so worth taking a light jacket/jumper however it is only mid April so probably not an issue in the summer. The pool was cold water which I guess wouldn't be an issue in the very warm months but for me just a tad too cold! However the were always sun beds available in the sun or shade so was still enjoyable to lie next to the pool with a book and a cocktail! They did have a spa which looked lovely but we didn't use it so cant comment on that. Staff - The staff were very friendly and accommodating and always made an effort to say hello and engage with our son. Service was 10/10, we couldn't fault a thing! Overall we would definitely visit again! I love the location, 45 minutes from the airport (we used ABC transfers who were also fantastic!) and that you could easily walk to the busier areas but then come back to a peaceful hotel in the evenings. We also suggest going to Alcudia old town, a very beautiful town and they have a market on Sundays & Tuesdays. I struggle to choose a hotel when booking holidays as some reviews can really be mixed but I can honestly say I don't think you'd be disappointed if you booked here!

Fabulous stay

We had a wonderful stay. The room was comfortable, we stayed in junior suite which was fine for family of 4 with teenage kids. The beds were great and shower was amazing. Location is perfect, right on beach with 15 minute walk to town. Food was a bit samey after 4 days, we did half board, but good quality and good price. The cocktails in the bar were fabulous, staff so friendly and the spa was a treat, we’ll definitely come back!
