Amazing Relaxing experience

The hotel is conveniently situated just a few minutes away from Almyrida beach, making it an ideal choice if you're seeking a relaxing beach experience with all the comforts you need. This hotel can easily be described as one of the top choices if you're looking for professional service and moments of relaxation. The staff members are incredibly helpful, and in my opinion, they are one of the highlights of this establishment. Worth for the price

The hotel is value for money,big pool nice view,the food was ok it could be better,reception and restaurant staff are incredibly hospitable and friendly. Big mention to George,always friendly working hard and helpful,overall its one budget solution for your vacation if you want to explore the nature and the place No towels in the room, No TV for the whole duration of holiday and breakfast coffee it could be much better plus no too many options….

Safety is my main concern

Spent a week here with a friend in May, overall we had a great holiday, however, our main concerns were how unsafe we felt throughout the holiday. Rooms didn’t feel secure, we had steps leading up to our balcony meaning that anyone could access the balcony and the balcony door was very flimsy and didn’t lock well. One night, a gentleman from reception attended our balcony and did not make himself known (it was after midnight and was totally pitch black) which resulted in my friend and I calling the police as we thought a random person had followed us back to our hotel and was going to attempt to make entry. When the gentleman did make himself known, he couldn’t speak any English to explain why he was here - we only assume he was at the wrong room… Never the less, 2 girls in our twenties, miles away from home, locking ourselves in a bathroom and calling the police was a horrible and terrifying experience to which reception and hotel staff did not take seriously at all! Location was our next concern - although the location is great as it is a 5 minute walk from shops/bars/beach. In the day time, it is perfect, however, on a night time when it goes dark, the walk from the strip back to the hotel isnt lit up at all and is pitch black. Plus the cars coming up and down the hill do drive at high speed. I am aware this is no fault of the hotel but I would like to make people aware should anyone be travelling alone or with a friend in future. Rooms are very basic but clean none the less. We opted for a bed and breakfast package, breakfast wasn’t great but also wasn’t awful. Not a lot of choice and quality not the best. Pool area was nice and clean, pool was nice and refreshing. Pool bar very expensive. 3.50 euro for a can of Fanta Lemon which is 80 cent in the shop down the hill! Also, if you are looking to book a taxi, use the taxi rank upon the beach front. We make the mistake of asking the receptionist to call a taxi for us. A random man in an unmarked car who didn’t speak English at all arrived. Reception confirmed our fare was 30 euro and upon our arrival the man demanded another 5 euro on top of this… However, Crete is a beautiful place - I would absolutely return to Crete, unfortunately, I wouldn’t return to this hotel!

Great hotel, ideal location!

Having read a lot of differing reviews we weren't sure what we were going to get... But ignore the negative reviews. This is a lovely hotel. We stayed with our young family where we got a large room with 2 bedrooms for 10 nights. The rooms were cleaned daily, and towels/bedding changed every 3days. The room was spotless. The swimming pools were great, especially for little ones the smaller kids pool was ideal! So many sun loungers and you could always get a bed no matter what time of day - we'd often do the beach in the morning and by 2pm there were still loads of beds. No one reserved beds so it was great!! We were all inclusive, breakfast was lovely with a range of hot and cold foods - my only criticism was there were only 2 toasters each doing 2 slices each, so could be a queue (although this is the end of the world). Lunch was a small selection of hot food and salad, with fruit for dessert. Dinner was always 8 hot meals (4 of which were usually veggie, being a veggie myself this is important) and 4 meats, with a large salad selection, dessert and fruit. There was a small kids selection for evening meal seperate. The food was delicious!! Often more traditional Greek dishes (just what you want in crete). I can't understand the more negative reviews of tbe food as everything we had was so tasty and delicious. The pool bar served drinks during the day - beer and spirits for all inclusive. My only negative of this was there were only 2 cocktails included in the all inclusive. The pool snacks were muffins which were tasty. The views down to the sea were amazing!! The beach and town is a short 5/10 minute walk away. The beach is lovely and lots of restaurants which we ate at to break up the hotel food. I'd definitely recommend this hotel!! We'd stay again!

Not worth

It’s not worth to get all inclusive . Poor drinks , poor breakfast, just one type of fruit , barely any bread . Lunch and dinner awful , basically cucumber and tomato , even the pasta bolognaise has no taste ! One swimming pool is ok , but lots of tiles missing and drain without cover , which is very dangerous for girls with long hair , also there is no shower around it , so people just swim without “clean” their bodies and if you are to expecting a water park is just a small slide , so don’t frustrate your kids. Definitely not worth , better to rent and apartment or another hotel
