Un beau séjour au bord de la mer Ionienne

The owner and host Thomas, upon arrival he stopped at the supermarket so I could by food and breakfast products, he gave me a guided tour on the arrival i Kanali, both the new and the old Kanali, he brought me to Preveza and back for a bike rental, in addition he gave me a lift to Preveza city in the evening so I could discover the beautiful city. Thomas picked me up later in the evening, so I did not have to pay for a taxi to Kanali. He also showed me the bus stop in Preveza city, as it is located 2,2 km. from the city centre. As travelling solo taking a taxi everywhere is way too expensive. He also gave me some advice leaving Kanali on how to deal with life and appreciate the surprises that turn out of the blue being on holidays in Epirus. I really appreciated his actions of facilitating for an excellent stay in Kanali. In particular the visit to Lidl was very interesting, as I am teaching SCM in retail management. It was very interesting to see how Lidl has succeeded in Greece! Also discussing the implementation and downfall of Lidl in Norway. What are the chances of meeting a lecturer at the University of Ionianna when visiting Kanali, Epirus, being introduced to blockchain and several publications in SCM, accounting, ERP, BC and ABC cost analyses. Quite thrilling! The owner and hostess Vanessa contacted me the morning after the arrival, proposing to help if anything was needed. Vanessa really helped me out with bus hours going to Preveza and Praga and gave me advice on how to travel by bus, or combination of bus and taxi, so it would be less expensive for me. As mentioned earlier, travelling solo taking a taxi everywhere is way too expensive. Vanessa also gave a recommendation on a restaurant in Preveza, Crazy Shrimp or Treli Garida, where they have these awesome shrimps fished directly from the Ionian Sea. The owner of Treli Garida was very kind to me and was offering cheese made by cow milk instead of feta cheese, as they blend the cheese into the pasta. Vanessa also helped me telling me where to find the bus stop in Kanali. In general Vanessa was very attentive and were always willing to help out. Both Thomas and Vanessa are excellent hosts and their way of helping me out actually made me return to Preveza only one week after departure. I really appreciate what they both did to accommodate for a beautiful stay in Kanali, and I would love to return to Vanessa’s Rooms and Appartments. Ευχαριστώ πολύ!

Great room and excellent hosts

My family stayed here while we were visiting relatives and seeing the sites nearby. The location is very nice and the hosts are super friendly and speak very good English. We were given lots of tips on things to see while there and also some great places to eat. The room was very nice and super clean. The hotel seems to be fairly new and is in great shape. I would stay there again for sure.

Εγκάρδια φιλοξενία

Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ καθαρό. Αν και πήραμε το οικονομικό δωμάτιο -που ήταν πολύ μικρό-ωστόσο ήταν πλήρως εξοπλισμένο, λειτουργικό με πολύ άνετο κρεβάτι. Οι κοινόχρηστοι χώροι(κουζίνα, καθιστικό, τραπεζαρία, βεράντες) ήταν ευρύχωροι και πολύ όμορφα διακοσμημένοι.Το κατάλυμα διαθέτει ασανσέρ για την πρόσβαση στα πάνω δωμάτια και κήπο με παιδική χαρά.Άνετο πάρκινγκ.Πολύ κοντά στην Πρέβεζα με το αυτοκίνητο.Δίπλα στην παραλία.Οι οικοδεσπότες εξαιρετικά φιλικοί,εξυπηρετικοί και φιλόξενοι. Θα ξαναπάμε.
